INDUSTRY ACROSS BORDERS
Date:
20 October
Time:
16:30 – 18:00

Description

The session is dedicated to the development of international cooperation between industrial clusters and its role in the formation of joint productions and sustainable supply chains. The focus is on the mechanisms of interaction between the state, business structures, scientific organizations, as well as the conditions necessary for combining their production, scientific and technological competencies in order to develop international cooperation and attract foreign direct investment in projects. Cluster cooperation improves the quality of life in the city through the creation of new points of economic growth, opens new opportunities for Moscow and large foreign megacities, allows the formation of sustainable production ecosystems, localization of high-tech solutions, exchange of engineering competencies and launch of joint projects in promising industries. At the same time, the key becomes the search for effective models of interaction between regions, industrial associations and business structures of partner countries. Using the example of joint bilateral projects of Moscow companies and foreign partners in the fields of electric mobility, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, microelectronics, robotics and other industries, various models of cluster cooperation will be considered, including the experience of China, India, and the countries of the Middle East. Participants will analyze how the interaction between the state and business is organized in these countries, the distribution of functions between international partners, and the process of attracting investments to create conditions for long-term cooperation.
