Case Session “Safe Portfolio: PPP Mechanisms as an Effective Tool in Moscow’s Investment Policy”

Description

A practical immersion into PPP mechanisms through the analysis of real cases. How to find a balance of interests between the city and business when implementing capital-intensive projects, and why offset contracts are becoming an increasingly sought-after instrument in the capital’s investment policy. A separate block will be devoted to successful contracts: from the search for compromise solutions to the distribution of risks and control over the fulfillment of obligations, as well as practical training in the offset mechanism: how this instrument works, what benefits each party receives, and which pitfalls must be taken into account.

In the second block of the event, students will solve a real task of structuring an offset (the very one that GAU I solves every day). The winner of the case championship will receive the opportunity to complete an internship in the Government of Moscow — State Budgetary Institution GAU I.
