The Exchange from the Inside: STOKER Business Game (jointly with Sber)

Description

The event will take place in the format of the STOKER business board game — a simulator of a commodity and stock exchange, within which participants conclude deals with oil, gold, and grain. At the initial stage the value of all resources is the same, however each deal affects their price, the volume of participants’ capital, and their position on the game market.

The game is aimed at developing strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and decision-making under conditions of competition. Participants will have to develop and adjust trading strategies, assess risks, conclude agreements, and analyze the consequences of their actions. The format makes it possible to trace the impact of individual decisions on the final result and to evaluate the significance of both economic calculations and effective interaction with other participants.

The event is oriented toward students and young specialists interested in studying the principles of how exchange markets operate and in developing practical skills of analysis, planning, and business communication.
